Steps to solving any vector addition
problem:
1. Break each vector (A, B, C, etc) in to its horizontal,
, and vertical, , components.
2. Add
all horizontal components (Ax, Bx, Cx, etc.) together to get the horizontal component of the
resultant (Rx)

Add all vertical components (Ay, By, Cy, etc.) together to
get the vertical component of the resultant (Ry)

Determine the magnitude of the resultant:

Does it make sense? In particular, make sure to add 180
degrees if Rx is negative!
